Student President: Justin Yoo
Justin Yoo, a junior at Stuyvesant High School, serves as the student president of Hot Chocolate Ministry (HCM), an organization dedicated to fostering community and empowering second-generation children to succeed in life. He fosters connections between children and helps them grow and improve as people. With a deep commitment to his work, Justin combines his leadership roles to create meaningful change. Passionate, driven, and always striving to do more, he leads with a vision to inspire others and build a brighter future for the next generation. Through his unwavering dedication, Justin Yoo not only uplifts those around him but also sets an inspiring example of leadership and compassion. His efforts leave a lasting impact, empowering the next generation to thrive and create meaningful change in their own lives.

Student Vice President: Abigail Lee
Abigail Lee, a junior at the Bronx High School of Science, serves as the student vice president of Hot Chocolate Ministry (HCM). As an individual who values the importance of self-discovery and identity, she hopes to aid currently active and incoming members to find their unique voices through the organization’s volunteering and communal opportunities. She aspires to become a bridge-builder—to inspire peers to connect with those who share the same passion. To engender the vision of a brighter future into reality—she is determined to work towards impactful change within the community and society as a whole. Creative, innovative, and full of grit, she looks forward to working with fellow leaders and peers to bring fruition the vision of a better future.

Treasurer: Alyssa Kim
Alyssa Kim, currently a sophomore at Plainview Old-Bethpage JFK high school, is treasurer for the Hot Chocolate Ministry. She highly values compassion and empathy, fostering strong connections with her peers and the wider community. Through her efforts with HCM, she aims to uplift others and motivate the upcoming generation to embrace leadership opportunities. Hard-working and resilient, she aspires to lead with honesty and confidence.

Secretary: Michael Joonki Jung
Michael Jung is a junior at Benjamin N. Cardozo High School, an accomplished taekwondo athlete and pianist, who serves as the student secretary of Hot Chocolate Ministries (HCM). Being an athlete with experience competing at state, national, and international levels with a competitive team, he has instilled in himself the values of teamwork, discipline, and the vital elements that contribute to a group’s success. Michael is not only committed to his athletic pursuits but also to understanding people on a more personal level. In doing so, he aims to foster authentic relationships. He is deeply involved in uplifting those around him and assisting others in realizing their full potential. He believes that by creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere within HCM, people in need can reach out, knowing they can depend on us.
